What to Eat ??
Classify food into three categories
- Sattva
- Tamas
- Rajas
It can be put in the category of pranic food, which is as follows.
1) Positive Pranic Food
- Positive prana means it adds a certain pranic energy to the system when you consume it.
2) Negative Pranic Food
- Negative prana means it takes away energy from the system.
3) Zero Pranic Food
- Zero, neither takes away nor gives the energy nor it adds the energy from the body it’s just eaten for taste and lethargy.
Many people have said “we enjoy sleep” nobody can enjoy sleep if you are enjoying sleep your not sleeping. You may enjoy restfulness, you may enjoy the aftereffect of sleep that’s different. You enjoy restfulness, not the sleep.
It is very important to understand the difference between the rest. Rest is very essential and important in one’s life. If there is no rest in you, you are not capable of dynamic activity.
If you are not rested can you be active?
No right, but does that means you will wast half of your life is resting, no it does not work like that.
Rest is one thing sleep is another thing, you must differentiate between those two.
Sleep is certain inertia, the difference between life and death is just this, life is the dynamic process of energy whereas death is an inertia state of the energy.
Sleep is playing between the two, the more you practice that, unknowingly you’re inviting death. If you slept for 8 hrs a day your inviting death 20 years earlier or thirty years earlier then what it should’ve come.
So if you eat positive pranic food the energy will reverberate in a dynamic way, if you eat negative pranic food it takes away energy and causes certain deviations in energy & if you eat zero pranic food it brings lethargy and maybe you can eat it for some extent.
Let us understand the classification between this food.
Well, no need to look at positive because a whole lot of them fall under positive and the list is way big to be explained.
But we shall look at the negative pranic food as it is a much shorter list but unfortunately it is also the list of food which you like the most.
At top of the negative pranic food is GARLIC then there is onions, asafetida, green chills or chilli peppers (hot), coffee, tea.
All these are nervous stimulants, once in a way, if you drink then you have some benefits but if it becomes a daily thing then slowly it deals your nervous system your ability to experience the life will go away.
Zero pranic food tomato, potatoes (cooked).
Positive pranic foods are ash gourd/ winter melon, honey, fruit, vegetables, nuts, dry fruits.

Honey is one substance on the planate whose chemical composition is very close to that of human blood daily consumption of honey can do wonderful things to you. It provides psychological stability, physical well-being, vitality all these things can be greatly enhanced simply by consuming honey daily. If you have excess fat in your body & if you drink honey with warm water it breaks down the fats in the system. Same way if you drink it with cold water it will increase your wait.
GARLIC

- Garlic Is a very powerful medicine but its one thing to consume something as a medicine and its entirely different thing to consume it as a daily food substance. It has much many medicinal quality, for different ailments we use garlic in very powerful ways. But if your logic is ‘every day if I pop whatever medicine I can be healthy’ that would only upset your own stomach.
Every leaf found on this planate has some or the other kind of medicinal value in them, it is just that only few we have learned how to use others we are yet to learn how to use.
As we were talking about garlic, it is very great medicine but everyday consumption of it plays on your nervous system big time, it is a very strong nervous stimulant, if you use garlic your nervous system gets stimulated in a big way anything that stimulates nervous system hold’s you up for some time and dumps you.
Daily usage of nervous stimulants in any form will slowly get you to a place where you become insensitive to life that you cannot experience.
We’re looking at this dimension of the food mainly in terms of your sensitivity to life largely people are ego sensitive they’re not life sensitive they cant feel life, for them only their thought and emotions are life.
Do everything by choice, if you do everything by choice then you know when to start when to stop. But if you make that a habit then there is a problem.
In the process of making the choice don’t become the food fanatic. Don’t make food into religion it is not it is a choice, and the choice should be according to the need of the body not according to social needs not according to cultural needs only according to the needs of this body.
Eat everything raw food, cooked food all kinds of food you can find but in a moderate quantity.
That is the best and logical mantra to live 100 year-long healthy life.
